Recently renovated and full of quirky heritage features, The Local After Dark offers guests a bar-dining experience complete with moody atmosphere, tasty dishes, and hand crafted cocktails.
Reminiscent of the thriving city cocktail bars, After Dark provides a space for after work drinks or an intimate place for dinner catch ups – depending on your vibe.
The Local After Dark is open Thursday through Saturday from 4pm til Late.
The Local After Dark menu features modern Australian cuisine with share plate style dining – think 3 dishes between 2 people.
Inspired by local produce, the menu features six seasonal dishes and two weekly specials to keep things fresh
For those after a lighter bite, mix-and-match charcuterie boards feature our house-cured meats and a variety of cheeses, fruits, marinated vegetables and toasted sourdough bread.
The Local After Dark features a hand-crafted cocktail list inspired by local flavours and spirits. On the current menu you’ll find a few classics, as well as a local twist on a few favourites.
On our all-Australian back bar you will also see the New England and surrounds is heavily featured, highlighting local favourites including Glen Gowrie, Dobson’s, Winding Road and Black Snake Distilleries.
The Beers & Wines
At The Local After dark you will find all local craft beers both on tap and in the can. Some of our local breweries include Deepwater, The Welder’s Dog, Great Hops and New England Brewing Co.
Carefully curated, our wine list features both the classics and a few weird and wonderful drops from around Australia. Some of the local wineries you will find heavily featured include Topper’s Mountain, Merillba Estate and 2 Wild Souls.
